University Library

Students in the Sugar Land area have a full service library on campus with the University Branch of the Fort Bend County Library System. Students can get a library card at UB and make use of the computers, wifi, checkout, and study areas. This is a separate card from the Jag card you received upon enrollment. Your Jag card still serves as your student ID and for requesting items from the library in Victoria.

UB librarians can assist students with research in UHV library resources. You will need to log into the databases with your UHV student account.

Interlibrary loan requests initiated through the VC/UHV Library can be picked up at UB and any reserve items that are not electronic will be available at the Reference desk.

Students who attend classes online or at remote locations  may find a Texshare card will help you in your research. This card allows you to check out items from most public university libraries in Texas. Students can complete the online application form for a Texshare card. The card will be mailed to the address listed on your student record.
