Money Smart Week is April 22-29, 2017 and it helps consumers from all demographics and income levels better manage their finances. It began in the Chicago area but has since become a national event. Government agencies, libraries, businesses, financial institutions, and the media collaborate to promote financial literacy.
You can learn more about Money Smart Week on the official website. The Money Smart Week website links to a wealth of information including videos, articles, and tools to help you manage your personal finances. There are resources available for adults, teens, and kids.
The VC/UHV Library also has a guide available in support of Money Smart Week. The guide offers information on personal finance, paying for college, identity theft, and salary negotiation. You can also stop by the 1st Floor of the Library and check out the books on display.
