Browser and Technical Requirements: Popups

This guide provides information about the browser and technical requirements of many of our databases.

What is a popup anyway?

A pop-up in a web browser is a window that appears with a user selecting an option, therefore being a "pop-up".  Sometimes advertising, sometimes menus for  more options or program functions.

Most web browsers include an option to block pop-up windows from opening.

Some library databases use pop-up windows for menus and other functions of the database.
