Services for Distance Students: Adult Education

The Library offers a number of services to distance students

Victoria College Adult Education Campus

Adult Education students may obtain a student ID card that allows them to check out library items (up to 3 at a time) and use the computers at the library.

Students attending class at the Adult Education Center have access to all of the online databases from the VC/UHV Library from that location or in the library. Adult Ed students may log on for 2 hours each day in the library. Many of these databases allow access to the full text of journals, books and videos. Interlibrary loan is available for materials from the catalog or from other libraries.

Interlibrary loan requests initiated through the VC/UHV Library can be picked up at the Library on the 2nd floor service desk.

Please contact Lori Bryan, Head of Reference and Access Services or the Library's Reference Desk for further assistance.

Remember that VC/UHV Library is your library and you can reach us by phone, email, or chat anytime we are open! Our librarians can assist students with research in library resources.
