Services for Distance Students: Katy Location

The Library offers a number of services to distance students

Students attending class at the Katy campus have a librarian on site who can help you with any of your research questions or needs. There is a library with computers, wifi, copiers, printers, scanners, study space and helpful handouts on library research.

The librarian can assist students with research in UHV library resources. You will need to log into the databases with your UHV student account.

Interlibrary loan requests should be initiated through the UHV Library and can be picked up at the library desk in Katy. Any reserve items that are not electronic will be available there also.

Students who attend classes online or at remote locations may find a Texshare card will help you in your research. This card allows you to check out items from most public university libraries in Texas. Students can complete the online application form for a Texshare card. The card will be mailed to the address listed on your student record. Checkout services in Katy are through your Texshare card only.

Contact Jean Mutschler in Katy or Lori Bryan at the UHV Library for any questions you may have about the library services.
